Did you know that each year people who change their own motor oil dispose of over 180 million gallons of oil illegally? If you change your own motor oil, do the City a favor and recycle it. The City of La Verne offers 2 convenient recycling options for used motor oil and filters.

CURBSIDE COLLECTION
Place your used oil in a screw-top container and leave it at curbside on your regular trash day for pick-up. You may leave up to two 1-gallon containers on any given week.

The used oil recycling centers offer $0.16 per gallon of used oil returned. Be sure to contact the centers for hours of operation and amount of used oil accepted.
