How to Temporarily Access City Services

POLICE DEPARTMENT 

Certain police reports may be filed online, such as Fraud, Child Custody Violations, Identity Theft, Vehicle Burglary, and Non-Injury Traffic Accidents. For more information and to file a report online please see File Report.

If you wish to obtain a BUILDING PERMIT or have other Building Department related questions, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. If you provide your specific request and the site address, our Building Department will email you a draft permit form for you to fill out and send back to us.

The Building and Planning staff are available in person from 8:30AM-1:00PM, Monday & Wednesday and 12:00-5:00PM Tuesday & Thursday. If you need to contact staff after these hours, please do so by e-mail (see above) or by phone.

PUBLIC WORKS

Public Works permit applications are available online HERE.

City of La Verne is temporarily suspending service disconnections for nonpayment and waiving late fees, effective March 4 – June 30, 2020, for customers impacted by the COVID-19 emergency. When City Hall is not open to the public, water bill payments may be conducted online HERE or placed in the “Water Payment” drop box in front of City Hall. The City encourages customers who are having trouble paying their bills to contact Customer Service at (909)596-8744 to discuss payment options.

The City also offers Auto Pay Direct Debit services. To get started simply download the enrollment form HERE and return to Customer Service by either placing the completed form in the “Water Payment” drop box in front of City Hall or mailing the completed form to: La Verne Customer Service, 3660 D Street, La Verne, CA, 91750.

FINANCE

The Finance Department is open to the public Monday & Wednesday from 8:30AM-1:00PM and Tuesday and Thursday from 12:00-5:00PM. During closed hours, please follow the below information.

Business Licenses, Home Occupancy Permit, Certificates of Use and Occupancy:

Regulatory Permits - Garage Sale, Door to Door, Filming and Hand Bill:

Invoiced Services: DBID Refuse Payments, Planning Deposit (DPN), Fire Permit Payments: Please use payment drop box with your invoice. If you need a copy of your invoice please request one using the email address or phone number below.
