The La Verne Fire Department is responsible for protecting public life and property through the suppression and prevention of fires and for the control and containment of hazardous/toxic chemicals. Also, operates a 24-hour emergency paramedic service and coordinates emergency preparedness efforts for the community. Fire protection for the City is provided from three strategically located stations. The Headquarters Fire Station is located in the Public Safety Facility.
